The Milwaukee Parental Choice Study
How to Properly Cite Data

Electronic resources are well established as a means of information dissemination. The purpose of making a reference to an electronic resource is to give enough information so that it can be located as well as acknowledge those authors whose intellectual works are in electronic format.

Users of these data are requested to cite them properly. Below is an example of the proper citation of this work. You may wish to consult a style manual and modify the example to maintain consistency in punctuation and typeface.

Witte, John F., and Christopher A. Thorn. The Milwaukee Parental Choice Program, 1990/1991-1994/1995 [computer file]. Madison, WI: John F. Witte and Christopher A. Thorn [producers], 1995. Madison, WI: Data and Information Services Center [distributor], 1995; <http://www.disc.wisc.edu/choice/choice_index.html>; ().
