Summary of CD-ROM Contents

Note that like most macro data not every series is available for every country for every year.

The CD-ROM runs on the Win*STARS data retrieval system, version 4.2 for Windows for time series data.

Extractions can be made in a variety of formats, including: Excel XLS files, SAS files, MS Access MDB files, dBase DBF files, or straight ASCII files.

WDI Introductory Videos

The WDI CD-ROM contains six video clips that introduce topics in which the World Bank is involved:

These videos can be accessed from the main screen of the program by choosing the button. Note that the videos do not provide instruction on how to use the WDI CD-ROM.
